Our Botanic Gardens opening 12/10/10

In 2007 we began to work on transforming our grounds into a true "Botanic Garden." With over 300 different tropical species, many of them not seen on the mainland of South Florida, we are about halfway through that process. We plan on officially "opening" on December 10th, 2010. Our botanic gardens mission will be "The 4 E's: ENRICHMENT – ENLIGHTMENT – EDUCATION – ENJOYMENT. We hope to develop a scientific mission focusing on ethno-botany. Follow our developments here in the coming months of 2010, as well as on : Facebook & Twitter. Right now, we are looking for volunteer assistance from a grant writer/botanist as well as from a "widget" developer.
