Please note: Kona Kai's room rates include use of all facilities and amenities on the property; we do not charge any additional resort fees, parking fees or any other property usage fees.
Your vacation is important to you and getting it right is just as important to us. Therefore, in order to give you the best service, price and to make sure your vacation is perfectly tailored to what you had in mind, we do not offer ON-LINE reservations through ANY reservation services. You can check Kona Kai’s availability on-line via our “Availability Checker,” but in order to make your reservation you will need to call us at 1-800-365-7829 or e-mail us at email@example.com. All callers are given our undivided attention and are handled on a one-to-one basis, so please be patient if you get a busy signal during heavy call times. Email inquiries are usually answered within 12 hours and even quicker during regular office hours. Kona Kai’s office hours are 9am-7pm EST.
Rates are based upon single or double occupancy; four persons in two bedroom accommodations.Each additional person is $65 per night. Minimum night stays may be required. Holiday and Special Event rates may be higher. Rates are subject to change and 12 1/2% tax. Resort facilities are for registered guests only. All accommodations are non-smoking. Guests must be 16 years of age or older.
We require a 50% advance deposit by credit card or personal check to confirm your reservation. The balance of your room charges are due upon check-in.
We carefully prepare our suites for each arriving guest, so please help us by checking out at our posted time of 11:00 am. Check-in is at 3:00 pm. In order to avoid disturbing our guests and to be environmentally conscious, housekeeping service is provided every third day, or by request. Fresh towels, linens, soaps, shampoos, et. al. are always available at your request.
For your peace and privacy Kona Kai does not provide phones in its rooms. If you'd like to give friends or relatives a number where you can be reached, have them call 305-852-7200 and we'll gladly deliver the message. Our reservations office and front desk are open daily from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Kona Kai Cancellation PolicyIf you need to cancel a reservation of 6 nights or less, you must let us know at least 21 days prior to your arrival date; six weeks prior for group reservations, holiday reservations or stays of 7 or more nights. Cancellation requirements for “special event” reservations may vary. If you cancel without our required notice we’ll try our best to resell your room; if we do we’ll cheerfully refund whatever portion of your reservation is applicable. We do not refund monies for inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. Deposits are non-transferable to alternate dates. For your safety and security, on June 1st our “Hurricane Cancellation policy” will again go into effect. That policy is, simply, “from June 1st through October 31st, once a NOAA Hurricane Warning is put into effect for Key Largo, you can postpone or cancel your vacation at Kona Kai with absolutely no fees or penalties. [This is the only exception to our cancellation policy. You must confirm any Hurricane cancellation with our reservation desk and receive a cancellation number.]
